He he... Just thought it sounded like it fits in with the whole gold, silver, bronze thing original.gif

FHL - thanks for the chocolate hedgehog! They're so cute - have you seen the you tube videos of baby hedgehogs? Oh, and that dig at our moderator must have worked - we now have a new thread! Yay!  She was getting a bit slack (just kidding - not your fault we talk so much!!) biggrin.gif

Not happy about George, but not much I can do about it. DH keeps saying he thinks he's got no swimmers & wants to buy a microscope so he can check! Major nerd wink.gif  Would probably be an interesting thing to see, but don't think either of us could interpret it. Not to mention... ahem... handling the whole collection, specimen, slide side of things...

DH me when he got home have u tested yet when I said he needed to wait for 2 weeks he was most disappointed! Looks like I'm not the only one who is going through the 2ww

I had a water saving guy years back - put on a watersaving showerhead that made my pipes shake loudly and violently. went back to the less environmentally friendly version and all ok again shrug.gif

happy baby hedgehogs are called puggles. true fact. eggplant not the weirdest call on this thread biggrin.gif  that would be hilarious... you could wear labcoats!

Lisa** that is so adorable!

Lisa my DH was the same! When I told him we would test on 1st March he couldn't believe it. THAT LONG?!? It took a while for him to get on board with TTC so I'm really happy he's so keen to test.

Sounds like water hammer. The water saving shower head essentially lets less water through the rose, and it sounds like the pressure in your pipes was too high for the aperture. I've never had that problem with water saving shower heads though...might just be where you live...can often be a simple fix.

No temp rise today...expecting one tomorrow hopefully or we may have missed our time as I've been away for work. This away for work thing is going to cause problems  sad.gif

SOMEBODY..... I'm not naming names (gemcat) took another delivery of baby clothes today.

Lovely Gaia organic cotton stuff, on special from babysgotstyle.

Also, SOMEBODY.... I'm not naming names (gemcat) has been gassy for four days in a row now, and bloat-a-rama today. I could be upduffed.... or I could suddenly be allergic to all food.

Could definitely be upduffed. DP was gassy for days prior to our positive tests and she revelled in telling me that I couldn't say anything or even make her leave the room because it was an EPS sad.gif .

This is a very confusing cycle. I've been OPK for a couple of days the line got a bit stronger then weaker so I put the strongest as + this AM its darker again but I did use FMU which I cant rember if your meant to or not.

Either way we are getting in som BD so whatever happends just wish I knew where abouts I wasa going!

Gemcat- so tempted to go to baby shops but I cant do it just yet. I made that mistake last time and the longer my TTC went on her the harder it was to look at baby things.

'atta girl Rainy!
New Lisa - man, you have to leave for work early! I know I should avoid the baby stuff, but in a strange way it really helps me and makes me feel excited about ttc instead of frustrated/sad.
DM what sayeth you of your symptoms and your testing tomorrow?
Dabri lol

Lisags: Yeah, sometimes it takes the biggest disasters to help us decide what we really want.
Crossing fingers for you!

Sorry to those who are out for Feb sad.gif Sending you all good thoughts for March!

AFM: 3dpo and waiting, waiting, waiting. We'll be kind of amused if we get our BFP this cycle. Have I mentioned, in here, the blue million November birthdays in my family? We literally have a birthday averaging every 2nd day, including our first child and me! I always swore I would send all men away from me every February so that the cycle would stop with me. So far, I have not done well with this vow lol. Gawds, another November bday... Ah well. I'll just be happy to see two lines, even if it means we're always broke and exhausted between Nov 1 and New Years for the rest of time.

Hi all!

FHL, I'll be testing on about March 8th…..that seems like SUCH a long way away huh.gif

ZanBam, MummyL & LilyB – CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!! May your pregnancy journeys be amazing and incredible!

Happy, you could always send DH off to a clinic for a test – the GP just needs to give you a referral. If he is feeling anything from scared/guilty to simply curious, that'll at least clear things up for him. Nothing worse than when they feel a need to question their manhood wink.gif Sorry about George, BTW. And, I'm with you….more BFPs people please (no pressure!).

Rain, wow, YOU'RE in the know on this plumbing stuff, I love it! How much travel are you doing? Good one on the temp hike!

LOl Dabri – eeeeuuuuwwwwgh!!

Um….Gem…..wow, can we get excited?!? I am dying to get excited for you! *poses in about-to-start-a-happy-dance pose*

Sorry Julz sad.gif . Hang in there (both at work and with TTC wink.gif ).

KIQ, wouldn't it be ironic…..! For mine, I'm REALLY gunning for a BFP this cycle. I'd be slightly regretful for a BFP next cycle – it'd mean another Christmas baby which isn't fun for anyone, particularly them!

Min – things have obviously changed A LOT since I was at uni! The best it got back then was cold tasteless three-day-old overcooked rice which they'd chucked leftover peas and carrot chunks in with a bit of soy sauce and masqueraded it as fried rice!!!!

AFM....hideous time at work at the moment, which can't help with TTC. But on a positive note my sister and her partner bought a house at auction on Saturday (YAY!!!) and we've been celebrating ever since! It's only 10 mins away from us. They moved in with us on Sunday, until they settle, just to save a bit of dosh. Also on Sunday my in-laws and a random cousin arrived from Adelaide for a week, so mine is a MADHOUSE at the mo (7 adults & 2 kids). Nothing like raising a pair of twins in true family communal living environment rolleyes.gif .

I am at CD8, so time to SWI for the next week in the hope of catching my body out wink.gif . I've bought my first OPK and will start using it tomorrow.

Did a CD4 blood test on Saturday - it was SO painful. Halfway through the second vial the nurse made a surprised noise and told me the blood had just stopped flowing ohmy.gif and when I asked her if that was normal she didn't answer!? I was pretty sure there was still some blood in there?!...she had to go into the other arm to finish the job. I was so bruised and sore afterwards.

DH is booked in for sperm test on Tuesday next week, and we're back to see the specialist on Monday 4 March (my birthday!).

Will check back in later.
xMWA
