I have a big basket of ironing calling my name. I've pulled the board and iron out in the lounge room under the fan, so will start soon.

It's just too hot in Perth today (and for the next few days!)

I also have some cupcakes to make for tomorrow.

Exciting stuff here.

It's 5.30pm here. I'm just about to do a run up the shops for milk, eggs and bread, then I'll make dinner, DD can go to bed, and DF and I are planning on putting on a movie and enjoying a few quiet drinks together.

It's 6.15 and DH is not home with dinner ingredients.  And hasn't called or texted (he's been out all day and was supposed to pick stuff up on his way home).

It is pretty uncharacteristic of him not to let me know he's running late so I'm hoping he has dropped his phone in a puddle or something and hasn't ended up in an accident (storms here).

It is now 8pm, DH and DS are upstairs reading.

When DH comes back we will tidy the kitchen then try and think a little bit about tomorrow. A couple of big decisions to make and then a day of madness at work tomorrow for me.

The dog is cuddled up beside me and I am just getting brave enough for the kitchen.
