I'm making lemon curry chicken casserole as part of a lunch that's on tomorrow. I have to brown the chicken and veggies on the stove top then cook them in the oven as a casserole (a women's weekly recipe from some old cook book). So the chicken isn't fully cooked. Can someone tell me what it means by:
"Recipe can be made a day ahead, refrigerated and covered."
Does this mean I cook it in the oven today or tomorrow? I think it's kind of gross to leave browned chicken in the rerigerator then cook it tomorrow as a casserole . But maybe this is what it means
Thanks in advance (from the worlds worst cook).
