Improved eyesight after pregnancy

I have had glasses since I was about 21. I can't remember exactly what my prescription was back then, but I do remember being told that I was legally not allowed to drive without glasses.
I am now 32 and for the last 5 or 6 years my eyes have been stable and my script has been left eye -2.75 and right eye -2.0.
I am now 8 months post-partum and have been getting extremely bad headaches and car sickness when I go out in the car so I decided to go and get my eyes checked again (I don't wear my glasses at home). Turns out my left eye is -1.75 and my right eye is -1.25. No wonder I have been feeling like cr&p when I wear my glasses!
I have heard of pregnancy making eyesight worse, not better, but that is the only explanation I can think of. I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else?

I just went to the optometrist today because I'd been having similar symptoms...turns out my eyes have gotten better too! The optometrist told me that perhaps it was because I wasn't working now, and therefore not in front of a computer and constantly straining my eyes that way. Do you think this could relate to your situation too???

Ah I didn't think of that! That could be the case, as I do normally work in front of a computer all day. Damn it! Does that mean my eyesight will get bad again after I start back at work?!
