It's my little ones 1st Birthday this weekend, and we were going to have a party outdoors, however they are now predicting rain!! Have about 30 adults coming and a few kids and babies, need an indoor venue we can hire on the lower North Shore (Sydney). Any good suggestions?!!

Try north Sydney community centre or kirribilli community centre.
Both have kitchen facilities and enclosed outdoor play areas which is handy to keep kids entertained and safe if the weather improves

I've been to a great party at north sydney community centre. They alsohired the centres baby play equipment - ball pit etc so there was stuff to do inside.

Well, we had ours at the Great Northern because it rained - not most people's first thought for a kids birthday party, but thought I'd put it out there!
It has toilets, baby change facilities, and you can book all or half of the room at the back. Ours attendees were mostly adults though!
