given the amount of aldi's popping everywhere these days do you think aldi are turning into another bunch of supermarket bullies like coles and woolies are?

I'm interested what would make you ask if Aldi are 'supermarket bullies'. Is Aldi employing the same tactics of consolidation and undercutting on price that Wesfarmers and Woolworths are?
On market share alone, together Wesfarmers and Woolworths still hold 70% of the market share. Australia is still a duopoly, make no mistake.
IGA (metcash) is next at about 15%. Aldi brings it in with about 5%.

I don't know about bullies, but they are hypocrites.
After having objections raised to several of their stores in the planning stages by Woolies and Coles, they then turned around and lodged an objection to the Costco at North Lakes in Queensland.

I still think they have a long way to go before they are "Bullies"
I used to buy a lot at Aldi, but I have noticed lately that a lot of their stuff comes from overseas, whereas before more of it was Australia.
So now I wait until the specials at either IGA, Coles or Woolies and Buy Australian instead.
