I said I'd test on Feb 5?
Posted 31 January 2013 - 07:35 PM
We're transferring on Sunday (it's making getting plane flights an absolute biatch, but anyway) so adding 14 days would make the official test the 17th February?
Posted 31 January 2013 - 07:38 PM
Can I please join?
I'll be testing on 14/2
Posted 31 January 2013 - 07:51 PM
I'm testing 10/2
Posted 31 January 2013 - 07:52 PM
FHL, can yo move me to 13 feb. I ovulated really really late this cycle
Posted 31 January 2013 - 08:01 PM
FHL - please put me down as testing on the 24th
I did my first opk. Negative, as I kind of expected on cd9, but was good to see how it works.
Quick question though - the instructions said to let the test strip & the urine to reach room temp. I couldn't be bothered waiting for pee to cool, so just put it in after flushing & washing hands. May have cooled a little, but don't know if it would have been between 18 & 30 deg? Does anyone think it really makes a difference?

Im testing on the 7th if Georgie doesn't turn up. Day of my Gyn appt. Would be great to go to Gyn and say don't need anymore help. It will be our 11th Anniversary on the 14th (yep first date on Valentine's day), so would be great to go out and celebrate a BFP for our anniversary. But due to timing I am realistically thinking there is no chance. Will wait and see what the universe has planned.
Posted 31 January 2013 - 08:12 PM
Aiming to wait to test until March 7. GAWD that seems so far away. I freaking hate having long cycles.
Posted 31 January 2013 - 08:13 PM
MWA - I congratulate you on that very impressive personal post! Well done.
Happy, I have never heard anything about letting your pee reach room temp...I just stick the strip in straight away...
FHL - I will try to hold out testing until the 11th...that's based on the latest day I think I ov'ed...I have run out of IC and have one FR in the drawer, so will try to stay strong and not buy anymore
Lisa- wow 11 years. That's so great! Really hope this is your month to celebrate!
Posted 31 January 2013 - 08:20 PM
Gemcat - yes you did.
Dont try to hard Rain - i need to know!
wow lisa - 11 years! Hope this anniversary is extra special!
Apologies for any errors had to do it all on my phone.

The frustration of just wanting an answer..... AF or
......... a BFP just isnt a BFP unless its a FR BFP or digi screaming it in your face!!
Posted 01 February 2013 - 06:22 AM
Best of luck LM3 - the waiting and the little thin positives are the worst! Hope you get your answer soon and hope it's a BFP.
Posted 01 February 2013 - 06:26 AM
Hope you got a good answer this morning lm3.
Jessie... hope are feeling... ahem... better...
Made it to friday everyone! Go us! i have a busy weekend ahead with a friends 40th up the mountains tomorrow and my nephews 3rd party on sunday. had a terrible dream last night about being chased by a monster - first it was more like a dinosaur then like a large cat. sounds silly now but during the dream v scary.
Posted 01 February 2013 - 06:40 AM
ooh vivid dreams eps? I unfortunately dreamt that a friend (who I am having lunch with on Sunday) had a miscarriage (she is not pregnant.... or maybe the dream was telling me she IS pregnant. Oh god. And the lunch is to meet our other friend's new baby. *sigh*)
I bit the bullet last night and Facebook unfriended my cousin and her husband who have posted nothing but 'look our cute our wonderful baby!' stuff since he was born in November. So annoying and so not what I need to see right now. I'll re-friend them when the kid turns 5!
Welcome Mrs Darcy
. I shall imagine that you are married to Colin Firth. Good luck making your little mini-Colin Firth baby. LM3
like everyone else, I'll be
in the hope of hearing about your confirmed bfp
AFM I'm finding a lot of stories on the internets along the lines of 'my acupuncturist said I had a pregnancy pulse and then George showed up'. So i'm trying not to read too much into it. I still have zero signs other than sore bbs (last night I thought my nips had a purplish tinge to them, but I think it was just the light). temps not doing anything special - not falling yet but not particularly high either.
My maybe-bfp-but-probably-bfn chart
Posted 01 February 2013 - 06:49 AM
Lol gemcat. hope the lunch goes well! your chart looks promising! The acu i saw one cycle said only very experienced ones could do the pregnancy pulse thing before 2-3 months along.
