So we have our 3rd baby due in 3 weeks and we are torn with names. We have two boys and can't seem to agree on another boys name (we don't know what we are having but girls names are all sorted) We have a Jai and Sam already. My husband wants Taj and I want Zac. Max has always been a name we both like since our first born but as you live with it for so long it does slide down the list. We like short names and I feel Zac goes so much better with jai and sam then Taj. My husband thinks it doesn't matter if all the names go but I do.....OPINONS please and any other suggestions??

Zac goes much better IMO. Taj and Jai together would be a bit of a mouthful.

I do love Max though.

I like Zac better. Zac also goes better with your other boys names than Taj does

Are there any other suggestions that I can throw into the mix just to really confuse and frustrate my hubby biggrin.gif

I totally agree, jai and taj is a mouthful and taj can be very hard to pronounce in sentences.

Thanks to everyone posting replies.. I shall show my husband them ALL

I really don't like the name Taj, don't know why but it's just one of those names that makes me cringe.

Love Max and Zac, Max would be my pick out of the 2.

I can't stand Taj as it's a name that has been made up  sick.gif

I prefer Zac or Max, preferably as nn's for something else eg Zachariah and Maximus

I always think of the Taj Mahal - and thats been around a long time now. wink.gif

OP said they like short names so I dont think Maximus and Zachariah would really fit the bill.

I dont mind Taj but I agree with PP's it's not really right with Jai - bit like each others names in reverse.

I like Max.

Some other short boys names I like

Luke

Ryan

Levi

Alex

Joel

Caleb

Jared

Glen

Sean

Jace

Max is the best option and I think it's best with Jai and Sam too.

What about Tal? - I agree that Taj and Jai are too similar to work well as a sibset.

I honestly don't think our opinions would help much, in that it's really the decision of you and your DH - doesn't matter if we all prefer a name, it's who gets their choice (if anyone).

We had two choices for DD and two backups, once we saw DD we knew which one suited her best - ended up being DP's first choice and my second choice. Maybe leave the decision until you meet your DS?

If you're looking for short names though, here's a long list of three letter names - maybe something will jump out?

http://www.babynames1000.com/three-letter/

I like names like Leo, Wes, Dan, Con and Ian - and if you're willing to go slightly longer I also like Grey.

Seconded. Tahl would be less of a mouthful than Taj in the sibset.
I like max over zac (solely because I heard the name Zac and started singing mmmmbop)

I know everyone has their own opinions but it’s justgreat to have a little fun with names and to post your name options to see whatother people think and to hear feedback! I totally agree with all the comments.. Zac and Max a defhit and we will wait and see what bubba, firstly if it is a boy or girl, and what they look like, and hopefully (fingerscrossed) we both agree!

Thanks so much for everyone’s posts, love it when mothers come together to help
