HI, i have an enjo mop (a rather extravagant gift from my MIL, i suspect she was giving me a hint ) which is easy and quick to use, but i find it leaves a fine white film over the (shiny) tiles and polished boards. Does this happen to anyone else using a microfibre mop and is there anyway to prevent it?
I can't throw it out....i'll be hung, drawn and quartered!

What are you using it with? and What colour fibre is it? You may not have the right fibre...
Also, have you washed it with fabric softener? This ruins them and can leave marks on your floors....

My tiles aren't shiny but my mums is and she get's nothing on hers. My mum has the yellow one for shiny tiles is it? Mine's blue and is for regular tiles.

Bugger i have blue! She would have bought that one because she has matte tiles.....damn it!

Yep - you definitely need the yellow one... maybe ring the enjo consultant and see what she can do...

I got a mop and 3 fibres from MIL too - definitely think I was getting a hint
Yep, need to get the yellow one for shiny surfaces
are you using anything with it or just water?
Also, if it has been washed with fabric softener, run a wash (without the enjo) through the machine with just vinegar and then do the enjo wash (again, with the vinegar). Gets it back to normal
If you get it right they can be great - I have a porcelain tile that is an absolute b@%ch to keep clean, before I got the enjo with the extreme fibre (the grey one) I either had to scrub it by hand or use a tile scrubbing machine to get it really clean. The enjo with hot water gets it really really clean with no chemicals and a lot less effort (still give it a really good scrub though every 4-6 weeks though)
