Thanks for the new thread FHL original.gif

My glimmer of a postiive has yet to be repeated. It was SO light, and not even a full line so either it was picking up random tiny traces of hcg and I'll get a real BFP in a couple days, or it was a defective test lol Time will tell. I'm still having some light cramping and LOTS of pure white CM. Testing again in the morning.

QUOTE (bambiigrrl @ 24/01/2013, 06:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
hey girls hows it hanging?

mini i have a question for you - so after your cps, how logn did it take for your cycle to go back to normal? cause after being sick and taking steroids in august, i went from a regular 28 day cycle to 47, then 39, and just when my ovulation was almost back to normal at cd22, then i had the cp to stuff it all up again. o day was 26, then the one just gon was cd31....so i guess my question is what do you reckon my chancs are of ovulation around cd 14 this month?
feels like too much to ask to me but i am being super healthy/have quit smoking and drinking, have not had any junk whatsoever, lots of tea etc etc....god please let me ovulate in good time!!

I brought some maca root powder for dh to take today (have i already said this?) and i ended up caving and brought some opks! I wasnt gonna test but i really wanna know when i have ovulated for sure! so much for my relaxed approach lol..
p.s applied for a house this arvo through my real estate friend, and we are the only ones going for it! fingers crossed!!

After the one in May I O'd on cd 20 (late May) Cd 19 (late June) CD 19 (July) then from August till now CD 15 or 16.

I think I was concetrating on work and my birthday and wasn't worried about charting and just relaxed   after AF left and did positive affimations (they work)

The main affimation was "my body knows how to Ovulate IT will happen"

Bambii I have been having maca in my smoothies for about a year.  I don't know if it makes a difference because I was on the pill when I started taking it.  I didn't know that it helped out with "cycles" until I was researching about ttc.  You need to make sure though that you don't take to much.  A teasoon a day is all you want to take. After my CP in December, I O'd on the same day (CD15).

Lisa - I didn't realise you had a CP in December...I must have been away...I'm really sorry to hear that happened, and even more sorry that I didn't know. I hope I haven't said anything to upset you.

Oooh, Gemcat that sounds very promising. You need to POAS soon! Did you know that an acupuncturist can also tell you the sex of the baby just by taking your pulse. Early on, I had a girl pulse but my acupuncturist said that can change, then at the end I got him to write down the sex and after the birth I checked and he was right. He said he had a 100% success rate telling the sex!!

I didn't realise this, I'm guessing ponstan would do the same thing? Looks like I'm back to gritting my teeth through cramps... mad.gif

zanbam i wouldnt worry too much, i abused codiene pretty bad for a few months when i was 21, and ive had 2 kids since then... i was taking like, 10 nurafen plus in one go at one stage!

but yeah i know what you mean about getting addicted min, after the birth of my son, i was on such strong pain killers in hospitol after my c section (and was still in so much pain despite them btw) then went on codiene for 2 weeks after i left, then stopped cold turkey - bad idea! i had bad withdrawels for a week afterwards (christmas day was the worst day too, felt like puking, hot flashes, shakes, dizzy etc etc) so every since them when ever i have had to take them ( bladder pain, tooth ache, migraine etc) i always take ages to wean myself off them cause i dont ever wanna go through that again! its not fun!

Only have it on like CD 1 or when you get bad AF pain I shouldn't affect O too much

Luvmy 3 a temp dip is good as it can signal implantation original.gif

Rain I'm sorry you didn't know about the CP.  There was a few of us that had a CP around the same time and I didn't want to make a big deal about it after getting through it sometime after.  You certainly haven't said anything wrong.  Your always very caring and thoughtful.  It was great for about 24 hours and I was actually 3 days late so I hand't tested early and got ahead of myself.

So I think I may have ovulated last night or since yesterday morning (boo) I was waiting for DP to get home tonight from Tasmania to swi, but it might be a bit late.

So I'm just going out to run some errands and then have to wait arond for the plumbers to come and install a new hot water service (ouch didn't want to pay for that just after Christmas).  Looking forward to a hot shower tonight after having cold ones the last two nights.
