After 2 boys, not sure what we are Having next, but Daisy has always been my choice by far for a girl.
I love how pretty yet underused it has been.
The great Gatsby is due for release a couple of months prior to my due date and one of the characters names is Daisy.
Remember what happened to Jack and Rose after Titanic?
Anyway, what I am saying is... I feel like I need a back up girls name In case there is a surge in Daisy's popularity post great Gatsby.
Funny thing is our surname is actually Gadsby.

So something sweet and whimsical and rarely used?
Thanks!

Daisy is lovely - we can't use it for a first name but are thinking of it for a middle name if we have a girl.

How about Sadie?  Not quite an anagram of Daisy but fairly close. (And a gorgeous name to boot!)

Daisy was on our short list if we had a girl but our final choice was going to be Polly. Sadly we never got to use it.

I also love Molly and Lucy (but it's too popular now I think). Simple, old-fashioned but all very sweet sounding.

I know 2 Daisy's under 5 and another who was given that as a middle name last week. I don't think it's as under used as you think OP.  wink.gif

Way too cute to be a name for anyone but a baby.  A big "No" from me for Daisy.

I remember noticing either last year or the year before that it snuck into the top 100 ( either at 100 or 99, I can't remember).
