Both good combos.
I love Lucy Clare but I would switch the names for a boy because I like Alexander a whole lot better than Charles. Alexander Charles works just as well.

I'd probably switch them both - Clare Lucy and Alecander Charles are preferable IMO.
Although they are a little too Peanuts in combination so I'd only ever use one in a sibset IYKWIM.

I think they're both good. Like Gudrun I prefer Alexander to Charles as a first name, but there's nothing wrong with Charlie.

Lucy Clare is nice enough but I much prefer Lucy as a nickname to Lucille, Lucia or Lucinda and Claire spelt this way.
Charles Alexander is ok but I've never been a fan of Charles so I too would prefer Alexander Charles.

LOVE Charles. Also like Lucy and Clare - no matter which combination.
