Hi
I have a DS who will be 3 in May, he was literally "surely just this once" and I mean just this once without contraceptive I surely couldn't fall pregnant bahaha was I wrong but not unhappy about being pregnant.  We stopped not trying for another baby whe DS was 8 months.
In that time we have only have one BFP in about September last year but started bleeding at 5 weeks and passed around 7 weeks.
I have done some initial blood tests which all can back fine just before I found out I was pregnant.  After the miscarriage we were told to wait a couple of cycles before trying again.  January was out first month of trying again and a BFN.
I never wanted such a big age gap between children sad.gif. Lil man is nearly toilet trained and off to per school next year and I'm not even pregnant sad.gif
When do I go back to the dr and what do I ask for?
Tia

You may think this a rude question but how old are you?  Age is a big factor in when you should ask for help.

At 31 I asked for help and was told I was already and "older mother to be".  I have secondary infertility. I am now almost 40 and it is getting very hard.

But in normal couples the stats say to give it 12 months before asking for help.  You can obviously fall pregnant, so if you are not 'TOO OLD"  I use the term loosely, then maby give it a bit more time and see what happens.  Hope that helps original.gif

I am in a similar situation although my DS is 2 and 2 months and we have been trying for 8 months. First time easy this time nothing. DH went off and got his swimmers tested and results have come back not that great. I am going to GP on Monday to see what tests I can get done and we have a referral for a fertility specialist.
I would be heading off to GP yourself and getting your partner to get tested too. You have certainly been trying for long enough to get some investigating down. I am now glad my DH didn't wait the 12 months everyone says.
Good luck.
