I just think it's Buggilicious' son.  And even though I don't know anyone in the family I can't imagine anyone else having that name original.gif

The only Denver I know of is Buggylicious's boy and he is one of the most scrumptious children I have ever seen.

I've always liked the name. It's different, without being weird.

Buggylicious's boy is adorable and scrumptious.

It's still one of the names I hate with a passion.

NMS. I don't like locations as names except for places that were names first and places second like Adelaide. I particularly don't like US place names, but that's just my quirk.

As far as a name, it does have a lot going for it if you like it. It's easy to spell, pronounciation won't get stuffed up and he will be the one in his class.

I thought of Denver the last dinosaur too.

Its Actually a nice name, I just can't get that theme song out of my head when I hear that name!

I think it's one of those names that you either love or hate and it would suit your family dynamic (seeing your elder son is Beau).

FTR, I like it. It's trendy, but unusual. And also Buggy's son is so delicious, it's hard not to like his name as a result.

Not a fan sorry. Get Rocky Mountain High trapped in my head when I hear it.

Very spunky name!

I like it!  It was on my own boys list at some point.

I'm not keen on it

I'm don't like it at all. Names of city's never go well as names of people. There are so many names out there to choose from so why would people choose City Name's for their child? Plus it's a City in another Country so that just makes it even worse.

I think that Denver matches nicely with your older sons names, in saying that it is nms but not completely awful.

we are looking at heading there next year, going to watch some lacrosse....

heard its a nice place - airports a hard place to land

#21 Reubsmum77

I like it, DH doesn't.  We both decided Dexter was our choice if DD had been a boy original.gif

#22 wish*upon*a*star

I don't mind it- prefer Dexter but it is still a nice name

#23 Apageintime

Posted 14 January 2013 - 07:25 AM

Have you been there OP? what'd you think of the place?

I don't mind place names if you have a strong connection to it, if you're just picking the name without a connection to it, I don't like it at all sorry.

I dont mind it.

First association for me is John Denver too.

I dont think it is quite a 'real' surname though - if  I remember rightly, he changed his name to Denver in honour of the place Denver in Colarado.
