I'm thinking of buying a pram from Prams Warehouse Online but it seems to have mixed reviews.

Has anyone ordered from them? Would you order from them again? A simple yes or no will do if you don't want to go into details. Alternatively if anyone wouldn't mind PMing me that would be helpful.

Thanks original.gif

I ordered a Peg Perego from them over a year ago and all was fine. It took longer than I expected to arrive (a couple of weeks). I didn't have any issues with the pram, though, so I had no need to correspond with them. I think if you know what you want it will probably be fine.

I was going to order a Mountain Buggy Duet in Chilli. I am not in a hurry for it either and dont even really it before my due date in July, but surely it would come by then anyway?

They are the cheapest including a free sun cover and delivery, but cheapest doesn't always mean best and the reviews a kind of off putting.

I'm not sure if you can get it at the usual baby shops, but I know they oftetn price match Internet pricing and don't include postage in it. Baby bunting did this for me with everything in our laybye.

I bought DS's first car seat from them just over 3 years ago and they were brilliant.

I ordered two maxi rider AHR's and they were great. Fast delivery, reasonable postage.

I would use them again. I've  never heard anything bad

It should be fine, just don't post a negative review on the product review site.... The PW management are feisty in their comments underneath. laugh.gif

I am sure it will be ok, generally people will do negative reviews more than positive (because we expect positive) so it looks bad, but probably isn't as bad as it looks (statistically).

They price match in store if you quote the online price. Don't expect the staff to know much about the products though, they're generally clueless.

I ordered DDs new carseat off that site about a month ago and had no issues with them. Delivery was really quick and they answered any questions I had promptly.

Hmmm well I placed the order on Sunday and received the confirmation/payment receipt email and have heard nothing else, not sure if this is normal.

Most places I've ordered from send an email saying if the item is out of stock or when it is likely to be dispatched.......

I ordered a bunch of stuff from them a month or so ago. They will send you a shipping notice with a tracking number once the order has been posted. Once I received this email my stuff arrived very quickly!

Hope you don't have to wait to long

Chiming in a bit late, as you've already ordered. But I bought a pram (phil & ted) from them back in 09. Everything was fine, I'd recommend them, not a problem at all.

We ordered from pram warehouse online, but asked to have it picked up at a shop instead of delivered. So glad we did this, as we then had someone to talk to. When we didn't get a confirmation email of our order, but the money was taken from our account, we called the store and they said they're out of stock and we'd have to take it up with the website - no reply when trying to contact the website. But, the next day, a lady from the store rang us and said the pram is on order, will likely be 6 weeks but they'll let us know. 3 weeks later we had the pram, so it all worked out fine. But.....the website never indicated at the time of our order that they didn't actually have the pram in stock (we didn't need it immediately but would have been annoyed if we did), they still haven't replied to my initial phone call, or sent a receipt / order confirmation which could become tricky if we need something for warranty. Worth the $100 cheaper price? Probably.

I odered a car seat from them at the end of December and had no issues.

I've ordered a few things, but now choose to go to the store and just quote the online price rather than the store price.

Main reason for this, is the things I ordered online were very slow to arrive either in the store for pickup or at my premises (particularly in the case of some nappies I ordered - 10 weeks!!!).

So far they haven't even responded to my email sad.gif
