I need ideas on what to buy my niece for her 1st birthday. I want to get her something 'special' that she can keep etc. as she is also my name sake (her middle name is my first name)

I was thinking a wooden puzzle or blocks personalised with her name?

Would love some ideas and inspiration pls!!

Also as we live rurally, buying online will be easiest so any good websites pls let me know!!!

TIA

Another thought would be a classic book or book collection that she can keep.

My brother bought my DD a charm bracelet (a proper one that requires soldering, not a Pandora-style), and then each year he buys her a new charm for it.  I still have mine from my godmother.

I have a charm bracelet my grandmother gave me.  Every birthday until she died she sent a new charm (actually they were from her own wub.gif charm bracelets) plus some for special occasions.

I think it's a great gift.

What about a stainless steel children's knife, fork and spoon with her name stamped into them?
