How do you store baked goods in the freezer

Kat (organisedhousewive) if you are about?  I'm asking as I looked at all the challenges in the 20 day cleaning and saw the baking day.

Just after some ideas on how people store the goods they have baked in the freezer (cakes/slices/biscuits etc) so they taste as good when defrosted?

Do you store them individually or in groups?
Plastic bags or tupperware and do you wrap before you put them in tupperware?

Lots of things in my freezer get freezerburn so want to avoid this with baked goods if possible,

I usually cool completely, wrap individually in glad wrap and then: for muffins I pop them all in a snap lock bag, for whole cakes I wrap in foil. I have only frozen cookie dough, not the cookies. I wrapped the dough in glad wrap and then foil. I'm no Martha Stewart though.

My Mum used to put freezer paper (go-between) between items then wrap them in plastic film and/ or put them in a plastic cake box.

I also freeze biscuit mixture - I roll it into a long roll and then wrap in glad wrap.  Then all you have to do it cut the frozen roll and put them on a tray, it takes 5 minutes to defrost and they're in the oven - no cutting out etc needed.

For sweet baked goods I double wrap with plastic and foil without frosting. These keep fine for a couple of months. I tend to reuse the foil for this purpose each time to reduce the waste. I freeze both in small groups and individually with no change in results.

I find that unwrapping them before defrosting at room temperature (covered in a tea-towel) avoids and potential gluggy tops on cup cakes.

For bread rolls I usually slightly under-bake them and pop them in the oven for a couple of minutes after defrosting to refresh.

Like others above I freeze biscuit dough in logs or balls ready to bake as required.
