Lost car keys

I've lost my car keys, any ideas?
Pretty sure they are in the house. DH had them last when he picked my car up from being repaired. He thinks he gave me the keys back - I don't think he did. Been lost for a few weeks now...

OMG! I found them! They were hanging in the bush underneath my letterbox. The keychain is a little rusty - but otherwise they are fine, the remote door unlocker even still works!
I can't believe I've not noticed them before now - I check that box almost every day! Luckily no one else noticed either as my car is often parked only a couple of metres away...

That's amazing, what? 5 months later?!? Well done, there's still hope for my lost central locking button from 6 months ago.
