Where is all this humidity coming from?

I am sick of everyone sprouting that Perth summers aren't humid! They're becoming more and more horrid as the years pass, the next week so forecast back to high temps with very high humidity - where's it coming from? I hate it!

I remember loads of humid days in Perth for aslong as I can remember. I don't mind it so much. Aircon at home and aircon at work. We do the beach in the afternoon/evenings during summer for a swim. LOVE LOVE LOVE summer!

It's due to climate change - more water in the atmosphere due to the melting polar ice and increasing temps means more rain and more humidity - or so I've been told
