I have some toys sitting around that I'd love to send to a new home, does anyone know of any community groups, play groups etc that could use them?
They are barely used and in excellent condition and are good quality eg Fisher Price little people
I'd prefer to give them away to a local group that could use new toys rather than an Op shop but am open to other ideas.

Ask your local daycare centre, or perhaps donate them to a special needs school or class?
I sent a lot of DD's old toys off to Gold Creek School, for their special needs class. Other schools with SN classes might also appreciate them.

The paed ward at the Canberra Hospital also has a play room, I believe this room relies on donations of toys and books from the public.
