Remote.

My bil has speakers hooked up outside on the deck that are conected to the computer. He was controling the volume and putting on music in his iTunes library using that app. My dd asked if he had "Diamonds" by Rihanna. He didn't so he downloaded it in the app store and put it on without leaving the deck. She thought it was waaaay cool.

An app called Where's My Water was recommended to me by someone. DS (yrs) and I have been playing it since Christmas day and we are both addicted!! There is a free version with x amount of levels (quite a lot). We've finished those now so I'm about to buy the upgrade!!

The Room

It's not free but it's only $1.99 and it is amazing! I'm playing it right now. It's a puzzle game.

Check out Big Fish Games for hidden object games - most have a free one where you can play the start of the game and then buy the full version. They're having a sale ATM too. These are my fav games.
Have a look at G5 games too.

Game loft is having a sale - batman, Spider-Man etc. a lot are only 99c at the moment.

. I just finished this, really want them to do more rooms.  I loved it.

Also if you go to a site called padgadget they do a daily/weekly list of apps that are on sale.

When you park, you press 'Pin My Car' and then when you go back, you press 'Find My Car' and it will guide you to your car.

Thank you. I haven't spent a lot of time on it but it just tells me where my car is which is weird. We are 750km's away from home at the moment staying with family and there are 3 cars parked in the driveway. I am not sure how the app a. knows where I am and b. which one my car is hehehehe!! I need to work it out properly. Chances are we wont have the iPad with us out and about though and I don't have an iPhone. That's on my next Christmas list though!!  biggrin.gif

I bought The Room too based on recommendations from this thread. I'm at the 4th level now.  laughing2.gif I just finished the one where I worked out all the light beams with the globe/telescope etc and now we have a big map of the galaxy!! Talk about addictive.

Yes, someone recommended it to me and I had never heard of it. Yesterday when DH and I went shopping a saw a Where's My Water board game in Toys R Us so it's quite famous it seems!! The levels get harder. There are a few I'm stuck on.

Can you see I am in holiday mode. Loving the down time but back to reality after the weekend.  rolleyes.gif
