My period is due any day and last night I had extremely sore breasts and was feeling very lightheaded.
I got my hopes up since I was told that you are more fertile straight after a d & c.
But did a test this morning and got a bfn.
Is this crazy hormones still sorting themselves out.  I'm so annoyed with my body right now.

I have never heard the 'more fertile' thing.
Maybe your test was a dodgy one and you may need to take another in a few days. I do hope you get the result you are wanting.

I'm sorry for your loss avonlea. I totally understand the frustration you have with your body.
5 weeks post my D&C i suddenly had massive sore breasts, and severe morning sickness and dizziness. I did pregnancy test and got a BFP! Unfortunately it turned out to be residual HCG from the pregnancy. So frustrating. It then took until 7 weeks to get my first bleed post D&C. Hang it there.

Yes I was told by both my obstetricians that there is a fertile window post D&C.

Goodluck. I really hope it is a BFP for you, and if not, yours is not far around the corner.

Thanks for your replies. My period ended up coming. I was just confused as I've only ever had sore breasts in pregnancy.
My hormones must be all over the place.
Its just frustrating and really keen to get pregnant again.
I wanted a bfp for xmas.

I'm sorry it wasn't good news. Unfortunately sore breasts are also a common sign that af is coming, too...
