Hi everyone. We just had our gender yesterday at nearly 17 weeks and they saw the 3 lines after the baby finally cooperated and stopped moving...I am soooo desperate for a girl that I think I am in shock and denial. Does 3 lines definitely mean a girl?? The tech was very sure but I just need someone else to tell me so I believe it! There were quite clearly from what I could see no boy parts.

Has anyone else had good accuracy with gender scans this early on? original.gif

Thanks original.gif

If the technician said its definitely a girl.. Then yeah it's a girl :-)

I am in the same boat....I saw the little lines for a girl but still it crosses my mind that it could be incorrect even though I saw it with my own eyes smile1.gif I'll probably get a 3D scan done after 28 weeks just to get a little reassurance lol

Yeah same here. Before I went in I did some research as to what the difference looks like between girls and boys at that age. My 12 week scan raised my suspicions it was a girl too as the pics on google of girls at 12 weeks were similar to mine. The sonographer told me she was taking a peak during the ultrasound and then showed me the 3 lines and was definitely sure it was a little girl.

I was thrilled! I was expecting a boy but really hoping for a girl so I'm over the moon to be having a daughter too.
