I just want to warn people I think there is another FB scam going around.
Today I got a request from a friend. Although it was odd as I have her on my FB already I thought perhaps she had started another account.
"She" started talking to me and asked if I had heard the good news which I said no....
I then got asked if I had heard of Richard Robinson which I havent...
she then said:
They use our profile name to enter for the lottery game and our name is among the winners . I got my money deliver to my $100,000 and i also saw your name too, my bank confirmed to me that it is real, it is an assistance from United Nations to some lucky people Did they come to your house?
This is when I got suss, deactivated chat and checked to see if I still had the "old" account on FB which I did. I have since sent the other account (the one that wasnt just started today) a message asking if they know anything. But it seems like they are now creating false accounts of people you know to get you.
