Fellow atheists!  It's time to stand up and be counted.  Check out the census.

Done! Although given the time of year I feel any participation in a census should be done whilst heavily pregnant, riding a donkey, looking for room at the inn.....

In the time between doing the survey and validating my data the number grew by 93 people!

Funny you should say that.  I had a fleeting thought that it could be a front for the JWs so they'd know who to target on their doorknocking expeditions.  laughing2.gif

Not really, chances are baby jesus was born sometime in April or July. Depending on who you ask  wink.gif

Why?
Someone is wanting to take note of how many people in the world identify as athiest, and how they define themselves, I don't see it as any different to filling out a form saying you're a dog lover vs cat lover or prefer Dr. Who to Star Trek.

No one's making you fill it out!

Only specific types if people/atheists will seek out this survey or fill it in which will yield skewed data.
A whole bunch of people, will think this is a fairly w**ky exercise or for other reasons will not provide their data. So you are only going to get a subset of information that is not representative.

You know, it's not that big a deal.  I don't think anyone really thinks it's going to be an accurate census of all the atheists in the world.
