I like it. I prefer just the one t though.
I don't think it's particularly bogan.

My son goes to school with a Diesel, and his older brother is Jett.  He gets the nickname Jetty.

It suits him  original.gif

For a boy or a girl?

For a girl I like it as a nickname for Juliette.

For a boy, I'd prefer Jet, as in the stone, as it feels simpler and more akin to Jasper and Flint etc. Two t's seems fussy to me.

I do like it as a nn for Jethro but not that many people are all that fond of Jethro.

For a girl Jett is okay, I think some are named after Joan Jett, but it does make me think of Jettas, which are a car I would not name a kid after.

On both genders I prefer it as a nickname.

Its a common name in my area and while it has grown on me I class it as an  'unique' name so therefore nms.

I met a few children with the name in my past working life and because of that I too have to put in the bogan box

There's a Jett in DS2's  class.
He gets "Jetty" too.

Gorgeous kid and the name suits him well.

I really like the Dutch Jet/Jette/Jetta (pn yet, yetta) for a girl.

But the trendy Jett for a boy leaves me a bit cold. Maybe I could get used to it if it endured, I dunno.  But my guess is it won't endure.

one time a friend of mine was workshoping names when we were in a group.

they said "Jett"

another friends husband piped up with this "better hope your kids not fat... or they will be called Jumbo Jett all their life"

Jett instantly went in the NMS list for everyone.
