I like both your choices! Assuming Safia is like Safiyya (i think thats the spelling) and not like Sofia? I rather like Sofia and Sapphire as alternatives.

Luella Josephine
Luella Katherine
Luella Violet
Luella Arwen

Safia Margaret
Safia Delphine
Safia Daisy
Safia Elinor

I really like Madeline of the list you've got. Not keen on the middle names you've suggested but I can see why you've suggested them.

Ma- names I like

Marie (muh-REE)
Martina, odd because I don't like Martin for a boy...

I like more just M names than Ma- names.

I like Luella but probably prefer Leora or Lucinda. I like Safia but prefer Zakia/Zakiya. That's no help at all all is it? Sorry. blush.gif

I like these middle names for both:

Caroline, Jacqueline

Fairly classic ones that balance the timelessness of Arthur and Elizabeth. Jane would too and I nearly included it, but thought it might be short compared to the others?

I love Caroline and Jacqueline, their only weakness is some not-as-lovely nicknames and in the middle they are safe.

Thanks for the suggestions all.

We cant have Catherine (or Katherine) or Jacqueline as we also have those in the immediate family wink.gif.
I didn't realise we had such 'old school' names in the family!

I do like the simplicity of Emily.

Oooh, I love Safia! Never heard it before but it is beautiful.
Safia Rose. I know in EB Land Rose is "over done" as a middle name but I think Safia Rose is so, so pretty.
