Hi, im pregnant with #5. We know we are having a girl, but dont have too many choices for names and  wouldnt mind a few more ideas original.gif
At the moment we are kind of stuck on Emily and possibly thinking Geraldine for middle name which is a family name. Our other children are Kynan, Caleb, Aidan and Alyssa...does Emily fit?

Emily is lovely. I think Hannah would also fit.

Emily is VERY popular at the moment - your other names are slightly more unusual.  I think I'd go for something a bit different -

Emilia, Emmy......

I think Emily fits fine.

I think Emily Geraldine goes fine together too.

Caleb and Aidan are pretty popular too. I think Emily fits well.

Though PP's suggestion of Zara was appealing too.

Another vote for Hannah from me. Emily is also lovely but maybe a bit cute for an adult.

Emily Geraldine works perfectly as a combo.   And while to me Emily is a teeny bit on the bland side it is a solid classic that fits perfectly in the sibset.

Isn't Emmy basically as popular in terms of nickname use as Emily PLUS Emma? So two top 10 names instead of one? I guess I don't see the point of that.

I like both Emily and Hannah. I never thought of one as massively less mainstream than the other, though.

I agree with this. I think Emily is really lovely, but I don't see it as fitting perfectly into this sibset.

On the other hand, I don't personally think sibsets matter too much as parents often have different tases and need to compromise. I think if a couple ends up with Jayden and Frances, and they both love those names then that's a good outcome.

I think biblical, but not too out there fits well with the others, so I agree with Hannah.
And I think Emilia is a good suggestion too.

I think popular Irish names would also fit well as you've got an Aidan and a Kynan.

And because Alyssa has a modern sound and is popular, I think many of the top fifty names would fit well (except for the more old-fashioned sounding ones).
