I like Macy spelled like this, Amali is beautiful too. Sorry, I'm no help. I like both.

I prefer Amali, its pretty, but it never seems complete to me, like its missing something. It may be cause my son is Marley though.

Macey, but both are lovely.

I don't know how Amali is said (ah-MAHL-ee or ah-MAY-lee or something else?) but I'd almost certainly have to prefer it over Macey/Macy.

Macy is all Macy Gray and Macy's department store/parade to me. Admittedly I don't think you have Macy's department store out here but its NMS.

I prefer Macey, although like the PP I prefer it spelled Macy.

I like Amali. If we had a daughter, we were going to call her Amalia.

Thanks for your opinions! I'm open to alternative spellings. I like Amali because it is less mainstream, although I think Macey sounds nicer.
Keep the opinions coming please!

Amahli.

I'm more of a 'mainstream name' person, but out of the two I prefer Macey. Amali just sounds like Emily IMO.

I love the name Emily original.gif I just don't like names that look like trendy re-spellings/re-pronunciations of ordinary names.

I'm wierd like that  original.gif

I'd prefer Emily but I don't think they're said the same? I'm guessing. Maybe some sort of hybrid with Amelie?

I like Emily but people tend to diss it as uninterestingly common.

Not a fan of either but Macey is definitely the better of the two. What about Maisie or Mali? I like both of these.

I have a niece Amali and it is pronounced (in our family anyway) A-Mah-Lee.

Macey by a long way for me, although it's not one of my favourites I have an irrational dislike of Amali/Amahli/Amalia/Mali.

I don't think so. I've always thought Emily was a beautiful name, it was on my original middle name list for Claudia.

I never connected Amali with Emily?? A-MAH-lee. Nope, don't see it.

I prefer the Macy spelling over Macey, to me that looks like it has an e for no reason.  And I am not sure about Amali, I prefer either Amahli or Amelie

I prefer Amali. Macey does nothing for me. I really like Maisie though.
