I don't love either but Kai is a million times better than Rylan.

I would say Kai. Would you consider Ryan over Rylan?

I like Ryan/Rian, and LOVE Ronan and Quinlan, but not keen on Rylan, sorry.

Kai is interesting. I like it more than Rylan, I think. It reminds me of Clay, which I like a lot, or short forms of Malachi/Mordecai, which I love.

I dislike both but if I had to choose one it would be Kai.

Both are NMS, but I far prefer Kai to Rylan.  Ryan is nice.

I like Rylan/Ryland.  I don't mind Kai but prefer the Kaj spelling.  They seem quite different; it is likely one goes better with the surname and/or in the sibset.

not really ms. prefer ryan to rylan and kynan to kai.

NMS, really, for either of them, but I'd choose Kai over Rylan... I don't even know how you would pronounce Rylan.

Keenan?
Keegan?

I also like PP suggestions of Ronan and Kynan more than either Kai or Rylan. And I like Ryland more than Rylan.

I have come across a couple of Rylan's - is pronounced same as Ryan but with an L - exactly as it looks.

Cant see any pronounciation issues (although  I guess people might think it rhymes with Dylan?) - whereas how to pronouce Kai is not so obvious to me.

have seen Rylan a few times in last few years - much prefer Ryan myself - in fact is one of my favourite boys names, DD1 would of been Ryan.

Kai is a word we also use for food, so a big NO to that.

Never heard of Rylan, but I like Ryan.
