I'm loving the name Lilah / Lila / Lyla but I'm confused as to the best spelling.

Lila seems to be the straightforward choice, but may cause people to mispronounce it.

What is the EB verdict?

I think its about personal preferance.

I like like Lila the best and Lilah is ok but I dislike Lyla

I like Lila best,  Lilah is okay.

I have some sort of unlovable personal vendetta against all but the most traditional y's in the middle of names. Lyla does not get a pass.

I prefer Lila.

But if people mispronouncing it will bother you I would go with Lyla.

I like Lilah.

I went to school with a Lila and it was pronounced "Lilla".  From your other options I presume this is not how you intend it to be pronounced.

Lyla reminds me of Lyle and I'm not a fan of that name, but that's just me.

Lila but either of the others would be fine too.  Lilah should be failsafe (like short for Delilah) as would Lyla.

Lila I'd be more likely to say "lil-a". Lilah and Lyla would be "lie-la".

I prefer Lilah.

Lilah I would say "Lila-ah"  and really dislike the added h.

So my vote is for Lila.

I prefer Lilah.

Even though I don't usually like extra letters in a name, to me Lilah is pronounced only one way, however, it would not surprise me at all to be corrected on my pronounciation of Lila.

I like Lilah, as in Delilah.

Definitely prefer Lila.

A friends mum who was born in the 50's got so sick of people mispronouncing her name that she now uses Lyla.  Now days Lila is more widely used and I guess it's really a personal preference.

I have a Lila and have had a few people cal her Lil-a or Lee-la when they see it written, so I guess you need to decide if that would bother you. It's easy enough to correct people.
