Anyone come across the Lego City Advent Calendar 2012 cheaper than $49.90? I got one for DS last year at 1/2 that price from fishpond, he is really wanting it but I can not justify spending $50 on it when we have already got them a trampoline for this year.

I don't know where you are but I got it for either 34.95 or 39.95 at the Toyworld in Greensborough (Vic).

HI thanks for that I am in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Haven't seen it at all in the shops. Have been checking online and no sales as yet sad.gif

Isn't that a bit late? It's Dec 1st today.  unsure.gif

OP, not helpful for this year but for next year and beyond that, it might be worth joining him up to Lego Club.

About August you will be advised that they are taking orders for the Advent calendar (it's always the City one) and you can preorder at a reduced price and it is delivered in September.

The lego city one or the star wars/friends one? Every time I checked they said they didn't stock the lego city one!

Fingers crossed they have them tomorrow afternoon!

Oh hang on, it was the Lego Friends one, I was looking at other threads earlier and got confused.  I was excited to get the Lego Friends one.  I've seen the City one too (at other places, I can't remember if I saw it there at all), but I didn't notice the price.

I forgot to do my order for the Lego club one but I got one for DS from amazon - the City fire one.  I found a lot of places had 'last years' - ie the police City one.

I think BTTW or another Aust website had them but they were about $60,  much cheaper from amazon including shipping

A lady at Toy Wolrd told me that the City ones are Exclusive to Lego Club and if they have left overs, then they send them to the shops.

that would explain why I have seen the Star Wars and Friends one lots but not the City one.

I missed the Amazon sale wish I had got it then, now its pretty much the same price as everywhere else once shipping is on it.
