I am in the TWW from an IVF/ICSI cycle- it's been a while since I've poas and I think I'm losing touch with my rational self...

So how many dpo is sensible to test?

The clinic set the HPT date for 20 dpo but I'm sure I could test earlier?

I got a def BFP with DD (also ICSI) 12 dpo.

I am on no booster shots that would interfere with a hcg reading.

TIA

PS Just to be sure my maths is right- EPU was 19/11 so I think I am 9 dpo today- is that right?

I think 12 dpo sounds reasonable if you've not had any boosters. I had a booster at 7dpo both times and waited until 14dpo, my clinic preg test wasn't until about 20 dpo as well... way too long!! And yep, 9 dpo today sounds right to me. Good luck!

Thanks Tilly- I was nearly going to this morning but my BFF is also an IVF graduate and was in my ear that it's too early- bless her  biggrin.gif

I'm biased as I got a bfp on an Internet cheapy at 8dpo & a bfp on first response at 9dpo. I did have VERY high hcg in my pregnancies though.

Best of luck, I'll be stalking wink.gif

If I'm right you are 10DPO and 7DPT - I'd give it a couple of more days.

Just thought I'd update for anyone also going crazy in the TWW- I got a pos+ day 11, 12 and 13- day 13 I used a digital too.

Thereafter I started spotting but my hcg has been rising all week-

156 @ 15dpo
254 @ 16dpo

And I'm told rising again today at 17dpo but won't have the exact number til Dr appt tomorrow.

Scan with the FS in a few weeks, until then just trying to be patient and hope for the best.

Thanks for the replies when I was driving myself round the twist.
