Hi!  i guess I'm kicking off the August BFP's!  my EDD is 8th of August and this is a massive surprise as we were told we would need IVF due to a low ovarian reserve (AMH less than 1!) and low and behold I'm pregnant!  I have 1 DD 18 months old (conceived naturally) and we are soooooo excited to be welcoming number 2 and are cautious but optimistic this time around (lost a bub back in March so a little nervous!)

When we start the chat threads I am more than happy to do 'the list'.  I did the list in my old 'Due In' group for DD and I really enjoyed doing it.  biggrin.gif

Hope I have some people join me soon!

I really don't belong here but August 8th was when my son was born last year! Good luck!! :-)

Posted 27 November 2012 - 09:36 AM

:-)  A good day to be born then beadles!

Thought I would start our list Bliss, since it is so much easier to just keep up with it as we go and then i will transfer it to our 'chat' thread when the moderator opens it.  biggrin.gif I'll just add our names and EDD for now and I will make it pretty when we open the chat thread.

I will update this as we go so if any new comers can let us know their EDD and baby #? when they post that would be great.

Can you tell I am just a tiny bit excited?

Hi Ladies,

Congratulations to all who have gotten BFP original.gif How exciting!

Well this is baby #2 for me. I have a beautiful son who is about to turn 2 in December so am super excited. However after having miscarried prior to him I am super cautious about getting my hopes up just yet.

All going well I am due 4th August (day before my birthday original.gif)

Look forward to getting to know you all a bit more and am praying that we all have wonderful months ahead.

Congratulations ladies original.gif

Has anyone been cramping mildly? I've also been having mild lower back pains and am so tired the past few days!

I have mild cramping Bliss, and heat in my back.  I had the same with DD.  biggrin.gif I am however a little nervous about my HPT progression.  Although, I only got a positive yesterday and it's still pretty  light, so I'm hoping it's just a bit early.

Welcome and congrats Alliepantz and fforster1.  waves.gif

I don't remember having the cramps with dd2, was so long ago! Lol

Don't worry, mine was pretty light too when I tested Friday. Df bought me first response and it was more darker then I bought clear blue for confirmation, just needed to see those words, pregnant! Tounge1.gif
Maybe try another pregnancy test for a better result?

Seeing the GP this Saturday, am so nervous! You'd think after 2 children I'd know better Tounge1.gif

Hi Ladies,

Cramping is very normal. I remember having it for weeks with DS and was freaking out about it. It's just our bodies adjusting and stretching and changing. Likewise with the backpain. I remember Dr saying to me not to worry about cramping unless it gets to an uncomfortable level then to go and see him. I like to think of it as reassurance that bubba is making him/herslef comfy.

Welcome BubbaLove and Congrats.

Hi Ladies and congrats to you all. I would like to join also. I looked here last night and there was no threads so thank you very much living bravely for starting it....

I am due 4 August, by my calculations, having blood test tomorrow. I have one DS already who turned 3 last week. I am super excited to be pregnant as only 2 weeks ago found out my AMH was really low and was told IVF was the only way left for us. Sounds similar to you living bravely. I actually have a fertility specialist appointment this Thursday, not sure what to do now.

I too have had cramps and sore back. I was really worried about it at first but I have a friend who is 12 weeks and she said she had it this time and with previous pregnancies. It is reassuring another people are experiencing it to. I can't remember it the first time.

Wishing us all a healthy 8 months ahead and look forward to sharing this journey with you....

Congrates everyone on your BFP's

YAY ... for a BFP! Very early days and very nervous. Have had two early miscarriages this year. Doctor believes that Vit D was a contributing factor and has had me on supplements for 3 months to try and boost levels. Fingers and toes are crossed for a super sticky babe.

Hi ladies

I got the official call today that I'm pregnant I think I'm due 5th August. This will be #2 for us, although I feel like a newbi all over again as DD is 6.

We have been TTC for 6 years and have been successful on out 4th IVF attempt. Still feels very weird, I'm in shock I think.

Anyway I have been getting early symptoms since Thursday now. Sickness on and off and lots of cramping (cramping is normal for me as I have endo) just hopes it stops soon as I'm in a bit of pain.

Bliss - your name sounds familiar did you happen to be in the Nov06 group??

I look forward to sharing this journey with you all, hopefully I can keep up.

Oh LO123 your welcome! I couldn't wait because my situation is pretty much the same as yours so I was just so ecstatic to talk to some people about it! LOL!  AMH less than 1 over this way and booked to start IVF in January!  biggrin.gif I fell pregnant in February (first try!) which ended in MC and my DD is only 18 months old and was conceived in less than 6 months after coming off the pill, so I never gave up hope of a natural pregnancy and was doing TCM and acupuncture and bam! Pregnant! Woohoo!  Congratulations mumma!

Bliss- I did another test this afternoon and it was MUCH darker! YAY! also did a clear blue digi and "pregnant 1-2"

bubbalove- congratulations lovely!  9 months was my perfect age gap and that was how old my DD was when we first started trying.  biggrin.gif

Julies1980-  waves.gif Congratulations! I will ad you to the very top of our list.  Glad you decided to join our group.

Mrs_Mumma_84-  I am very sorry that you have to endure the pain of MC.  I understand completely having suffered 2 MC myself.  We can be cautiously optimistic together and praying for sticky vibes for all of us.

Bumblebee-  that is so wonderful!  Congratulations! I bet you and DH/DP must be thrilled.

I shall go and ad everyone to this list.  biggrin.gif

Ok so I've updated the list. :-)  I've taken Julie's lead on the info I've added so what does everyone think about adding

EDD:
Baby #:
DS,DD's ages:
preferred sex (if any):
finding out sex (when you have decided obviously!): yes or no
Location:

Let me know if everyone is comfortable with that or if there is anything else you think we should add.  Of course if there is any information you aren't comfortable sharing you don't have too!  rolleyes.gif

If everyone is cool with that just let me know your info and I will add to the list.  waves.gif
