Grrr - frustrating much this process. So out of my 5 wonderful embies I now have 4 of which 2 are not great. FS has recomended that 2 are transferred tomorrow at day 3 and I am guessing that there will be no bloody frosties....
My wonderful mother will come with me to help with the driving as DH can't get out of work at such short notice.

Not sure how I am going to explain to my boss and multi million dollar client who has rearranged their week to see me tomorrow that I will not be there. Guess they will just have to deal with it.

I know it's hard not to think of work Hillplain, but what you are doing is very important for you personally. I've found it hard, too, cancelling on clients, but I usually say that I'm not well or that I have to see a doctor and they are very understanding.

Best of luck for tomorrow. 2 to transfer is awesome!  ddance.gif

Sorry I am not going to be able to write personal messages.  I have been reading all your updates though and I am thinking the best positive thoughts for you all.  

I am in far nth queensland and we have been having the crapiest weather.  Specifically for us (we are not dealing with the floods that others are thank God), but it is so hot and the house I live in (everyone says "oh you are so lucky to live here")is the HOTTEST HOUSE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN!!!!!!  And even though its airconditioned I am hiding in a small room when I am home and only have my hubbys laptop which I hate using cause my office computer is in a room that is too hot to use.  

So replying is hard.  I keep losing my posts mad.gif The heat is making me super cranky too although it may be the BCP/OCP what ever it's called.  I am calling them my B*ch Pills.  My poor DH.  
AlliD, glad you are a few days ahead.  Sounds like we are on similar stuff.  My appointment is tomorrow so I,m not far behind you.
I am going to post this now before I lose it again.  I wanted to write a bit more but if I lose my post again I might actually take someones head off.  Not good huh.gif

Hi Ladies I have been reading and following you all.

Good Luck Hillplain with your transfer.

Bwok Bwok Good luck with your cycle. Its hard to start again after a loss.

Hopeless - I too am up FNQ.GOod luck with your first IVF cycle may it be positive for you.

I need to read further back and will write more personals later.

AFM I am on BCP untilt he 22nd Feb and start Jabbing 27th Feb for a 11th March EPU and looking at a 5 day blast transfer again all going well.

I get low number 5 was my maximum and the other two only 3 but my fert rates are 100% so fingers crossed we get 3-5 good ones again.

My fingers are crossed for you all. x

Allie - woo hoo - once the first one is down, the rest will be smooth sailing. Don't forget too that if you are finding the spot a little stingy, to put a 20c piece in the freezer and pop on the spot before you do it and it numbs it a bit. original.gif

- hope everything is okay for you now and it isn't too hot.

Hillplain - wishing you the best of luck with the transfer. Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. This is more important. My FS wants my next stim cycle to be a Day 5 and I am scared.

STL - I did Acupuncture for my last cycle, hope it helps with you, I didn't find it to help to much for me but others have sworn by it.

Bwok - glad that you can start another cycle as soon as AF arrives. It is nervous to get back on the horse so to speak, so I wish you the very best with it.

AFM: So yesterday I went into have another scan, I was getting pains in my left ovary, so I did a LH test before I went and got a positive ?? So I said to the nurse, the other day when I came in Day 12, the nurse said I was no way near Oing but I have this and pain, so she did the scan on another machine and low and behold I am Oing and my follicle is ready and so is my lining, don't know what the other stupid nurse was looking at. So I have my FET on Sunday if all goes well and thaws. I am trying to not think of it actually and this time I have told no one. Only my DH and I know about it and luckily the transfer is on a Sunday and I don't have to tell work.  One Step at a time....small steps.

Amber and Hillplain- good luck with your transfers, i really hope it goes well for the both of you.
Allie- Yay you made it through the first needle. Its amazing what we can do when we have too. I am on the same cycle day as you and was so excited to start jabbing last night.

Sorry NFP- I just read your post and immediatly thought 'Where else on earth would I ever read about other women who are excited to be sticking themselves with needles?" Oh the irony of it all.  If we were teenagers (Please forgive me if some of you are...) we'd be carted off to the mental heath unit for 'wanting to hurt ourselves and starting an internet site that encourages it.  wink.gif

BWOK BWOK- I can't imagine what your feeling now.  I hope the future has good things in store for you.

Amber Spark- Guess you know your body better than anyone else.  Glad you have an exciting weekend planned now.

AllieD- Good on you.  You are my inspiration at the moment.

STL- I had Accupunture for my IUI.  It was relaxing, but that's about all I can say.  I know of women who say it was what made the difference for them.  I don't think it can do any harm and maybe if your rundown it might be what you need.

hillplain-  Good luck! 2 to transfer is still 2.  Better than none.  I hope you get good news.

Dolcengabbana- Cute!  Now we can be aquaintences in heat and IVF biggrin.gif .

Well, I have information overload and have just come home with the most expensive coolbag I've ever seen, filled with instruments of torture.  And I'm sort of happy about it. huh.gif

I am going to try the 20 cents in the freezer.  The nurse today who was lovely never mentioned it.  But she assured me I was going to be fine.  I am actually not a big woose, but 2 days ago I had a mole cut out of my back (figured I would be it out of the way before I started IVF) and the needles are still very much in my mind. Yeowww!
Anyway, No Pain No Gain.  So last Pill tommorow and injections start in 5 days.
