I posted a few days ago about going away for 2 days.  I am planning on taking my pump with me and hoping to store the EBM in the hotel room freezer.  I have a small cooler bag which I'm hoping will keep the EBM frozen for the trip home.

Has anyone tried doing this?  Did you have any trouble bringing it home, going through the airport etc?  Any tips on the best way to do this?  Would I be better off storing it in the fridge for two days and then freezing it when I get home?  Can I even do this or is 2 days too long before I freeze it?

You can keep breastmilk in the fridge up to 5 days before freezing ( https://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bf-info/br...ring-breastmilk ), so you could also carry it in the cooler bag straight from the fridge.

I have flown domestically with QANTAS with a couple of litres of expressed breast milk (Sydney to Melbourne) in a cooler bag and was not questioned, but I did have my baby with me.
