Hi All!

My family and I are relocating to Darwin.  Anybody else also in the same boat?

Looking forward to one AWESOME roadtrip, and of course, looking forward to a brand new life and lots of lovely new friends too!

Who's doing the same?

Cheers!

Hi

We just moved here 4 weeks ago.  When are you looking at relocating here.  We moved from Roxby Downs in SA, so just came up the Stuart Hwy.  We love it here!!!  It is very humid, think walking into a sauna, I mean really a sauna.  I think it will take a bit of getting used to but the place is still awesome and worth getting used to sweating. original.gif

Hi Michelle!

Thanks so much for your reply and great to hear that you're loving it up there!

We move out the week after next and will be taking our time to drive up.  We move into our new house early January. original.gif

I've never been to Darwin, however hubby has lived in the NT for work before and we spent time in Cairns and enjoyed the humidity!  Born and raised in Brisbane, so humidity isn't totally foreign to me, which is a good thing!! original.gif original.gif

If you're up for chatting with a new friend, just let me know.  I don't know anybody at all up there.

Cheers!

Hi Sonicbeagle

So very sorry that I haven't gotten back to you. sad.gif  We've been so busy and finally in 2 sleeps we move out of our camper trailer and into a house.  WOOTS. biggrin.gif

We will be much more settled once that happens.  We are moving to Durack.

Friends of ours who live in Gunn have a beagle also, so love your nick.  original.gif

Do you have kids and if so, what age?  Hope we might be able to catch up for a play date....

I'm moving back home to Darwin in a couple of weeks. I've been gone for 15 years. I'm being relocated for a job original.gif. I'm excited, scared and a bit stressed as I try to negotiate it all from Melbourne. I have no idea where I will live but there seems to be plenty around (though super expensive!!). I can't wait.

Hi ladies,
We just moved to Darwin last week from Brisbane. Thankfully there has been some rain as I was struggling a bit lol
Hope your moves went well!
