RIP Bryce

April Fools is still my most favorite book, I read it long before I knew what being a parent was all about and it still moved me.

It is sad, however he has been a very sick man for a long time. Im partway relieved he is now out of pain. He also got to see his last book published. His passion, his dreams and most importantly his empathy will live on with his beautiful legacy of storytelling.

Very sad to read this news. Like PPs, April Fools' Day is by far the most moving book I've ever read. His books have also been a link to my late uncle as it was a tradition for him to give me his latest book each christmas.

Rest in peace. At least his suffering is over now.

Very sad.

April's fools day brings me to tears and makes me so angry every time I read it. I always wonder what Celeste is doing now (Damon's girlfriend) and if the family ever kept in touch.

Such sad news.  He was a great author.

I remember reading the Power of One in highschool.

I've then read most of his other books, though April Fools Day will always stand out as his best piece in my mind.  That story is truly incredible and shared is such a beautiful way.

so sad I remember reading April Fools Day and feeling such horror, anger and dismay at all his son and the family endured. He truly was a story teller...

Sad news but at least he isn't suffering any more.

Beautiful stories from him, The Power Of One & April Fools Day both my favourites. The Potato Factory was a great read too.

RIP Bryce & Thank You for sharing your wonderful imagination.

I have a tear in my eye now.  An amazing man and a very talented writer.

My Dad (who passed away last year) used to buy me a BC book every Christmas.

I was also fortunate enough to meet him and listen to an inspirational speech he gave when I was at Uni.

A big loss.  RIP Bryce.
