I was wondering if anyones children have fused teeth, ds1 and ds2 both have two teeth that have fused together (ds1 is on his bottom jaw and DS2 top jaw). I was just curious as to whether or not their adult teeth became fused aswell, or just their baby teeth, the dentist said we wont know until it happens, and I am not worried either way, it isn't going to affect them or anything just curious

Not my kids, but I had a fused baby tooth as did my uncle. Once it fell out, only one came through and I have three in the middle at the bottom as opposed to four (I am glad only one came through, there is not enough room for another one. HTH

My second son had a fused tooth, it was next to the front tooth. He had to have it removed by the dentist when he was about 4 because it decayed right up the centre The dentist said no amount of brushing would have stopped it happening due to the weakened enamel & the depth of the crevice in the centre of the tooth.
When his adult teeth came through they were just normal.
As an aside though, my second daughter had 3 front teeth! Again, when they all came out, her Adult teeth grew through as normal.
