My Isaac is 14 so obviously I think it's a fantastic name. Great choice.

DS9 is Isaac. Chosen for its meaning rather than anything else in particular. His brother's his grandson (both biblical names).

Isaac also fitted the "not in the top 20 in the last 5 years" criterion set by DP at the time, although one year back or one year forward would have been excluded on this ground.
