There is a deal on Bubbler Deals right now for a 2 ½ hour anti bullying course which includes self defence techniques for $19. I have just booked my two older children in.

It will be held in Peppermint Grove and there are two dates available - Saturday the 24th and Monday the 26th of November.

Although this is a fair hike from Port Kennedy, I think it may just be the confidence booster that my kids need ...

So, if you have kids aged between 9 and 13 years, then it may be worth a look.

Wish they had them here in NSW.
DD13 came home from school yesterday after filling in an incident report about a girl who has threatened to hit her. Apparently this other girls friend has gone up to DD and started going off and saying "XYZ is going to hit you."
Stupid girl didn't know there was a teacher standing behind her.
So the teacher sent them to the office and the office got a teacher to watch DD walk up the road home, because the girl lives about 4 houses from us.
So I am on alert today. I have told her not to hit back, to go straight to the office and get them to ring me.
