Not my style, but I don't mind it. I like the shorter first name with the lovely and traditional William as a longer middle name.

DD is Ari, her full name is Ariana. It's traditionally a boy's name though, I like it.

I love Ari.

William is fine but not really my style unless it has a family tie.

Ari is really Jewish to me.  I don't know your background and have no issues with the Jewish sound of it (I'm Jewish!) it just has that vibe to me.  DS's kindergarten grade of 30 has 2 Aris, DS2's kindergarten group of 27 next year has one also.

I have no problem with the name.  It's too common in my circles for me to consider it though and I'll admit that I find it an interesting one to be moving to other circles.

I think that Ari William flows nicely but I am not the biggest fan of Ari, sorry OP.

It is not like I hate it, but it just isn't my style.

If Ari is culturally appropriate for your family then I think it is a very nice name. If not, then I would avoid it.
I love William but it is ver popular in my circle.

I don't mind Ari, though it's not my style. Ari William together sounds nice, though I guess the names are different styles - not necessarily a problem though.

Thanks ladies original.gif

William is a famly tie, and my husband chose Ari and I simply fell in love with it blush.gif

My other choice would have been Lincoln Matthew...........but hubbie has been very persistant and I am planning on having this name if I have a second son (but lets not get ahead of myself wink.gif )

Nice name.

Why does Ari have to be "culturally appropriate", but not William? What IS "culturally appropriate" anyway?
