I was told that Toys R Us now ship to Australia. Very excited, I was all set to purchase a whole pile of Christmas gifts when  I couldn't get through the checkout. I emailed them and were told they only ship to Canada (that is despite their website saying they ship to 68 countries).

Just wondering if anybody else has successfully bought anything.

Thanks

Just did an order and it went through fine for me.  There was something that said it could be shipped internationally but then it decided at checkout that it couldn't and needed to be removed.  Once that was done it was all fine.

Yes I am waiting on a delivery at the moment. Like a PP mentioned a couple of items needed to be removed as they don't ship to Australia, once I removed them I ordered fine.

Does that mean we can get the Tabeo?

TRU australia won't say if they're going to release it at all and I'm getting impatient.

Doesn't look like it Lightning_bug sad.gif  Only available in stores at the moment.  Wonder if it is just a stock issue and once they get more then they will be available on line?

Sorted - as nobody else had problems thought it may be my Mac, so I tried on DS's laptop and all went through perfectly.

Still don't understand the email saying they only shipped to Canada but clearly somebody is out of the loop.

I just put in an order through my PC, I kept getting errors/blank screens after putting in my address details on the international shipping page. Eventually, after about 5 goes, and swapping between visa/paypal, I got it to work with Paypal. THe website then should have taken me back to a page with tracking number etc. but this didn't happen (another blank screen). However my paypal account has been charged so I'm assuming the order went through...

The exact same thing happened to me DrMinx. I'm hoping its gone through too. I did email them to confirm, waiting on a response.

I made a big order on there 2 days ago. It took me about 5 attempts to get through the check out but eventually it worked. You have to make sure you select international shipping before you get to the check out. Once you get to the check out and try and put Australia as your address, it says you can't. I'll know that for next time though but it took me awhile to work it out. It's just a glitch in the website though.

This EXACT thing also happened to me. I was afraid that an order had not been placed because when I did re-open the site and go back to the check out, all the items were still in my basket. (Yet PayPal went through.) I emailed them but before they had a chance to even reply, I got an order confirmation on email; which took about 12 hours. Those items are still in my basket even now and I have received notification that the order has been shipped.

Very glitchy though!!

Many thanks OP!

I too found the website very glitchy - I found success with Internet Explorer (after trying Safari, Firefox and Chrome with no luck).

I had no problem placing my order and got an email confirmation quickly.  I used Safari on my macbook.  Hope it doesn't take too long to get here, as I would like to give one of the items to DS for his birthday.

I just placed an order last night and was very confused - after thinking I placed an order the night before. But I didn't get any details so contacted toys r us who confirmed my order had NOT been received (I had put my credit card deatils in). So anyway I do it again last night through Paypal - and again don't get any confirmation so contact the shipping company (who my paypal order was paid to), and got confirmation that they have my order and I will receive an email once it's shipped. So I have a feeling my first order went through - and I now have 2 Ninjargo Bounty ships coming my way. I'm waiting on email confirmation that this is the case (I'm pretty sure it is)

Edited to say - and yep when I log back onto TRU my order is still in my cart and they have no record of an order.
