Hi i'm a first time user. I'm 27yrs old and expecting baby #1 on the 24th April. After a long year of Ivf we finally conceived after transfer #2. Going for my NT scan next week, am a little worried but my doctor says i should be low risk. Morning sickness has eased off for the first time today and could finally make something decent for dinner, fiance will be happy.

Hi girls, I go for my blood tests today and then have the 12 week scan on Tuesday. I'm very excited to see bubs again. Been meaning to ask..has anyone had a cyst on their ovary before? They found one when I had my first dating scan it nearly 5cm. My doctor didn't seem to concerned about it and just said they will monitor it.
PinknBlue: How exciting..where abouts in Qld are you moving too?
VickiLong: I have a 18 month gap with my two...they are nearly 6 and 7 now. I love how close they are even if they do have their moments!!
Flowerpuff: I didn't realise they could tell you the sex so early? That's really great
Good luck to all the ladies having their scan this week.
Is anyone else really starting to show now? I'm not sure if it's just me but I feel like I am. Although to other people I probably look like I have gained lots of weight lol.

Hi all, its been a while since Ive posted, hard to keep up!
I'm very sorry to hear about those who have miscarried. My thoughts are with you and I hope you are ok.
AFM I am starting to feel a little better than the past few weeks which have been pretty crap due to a fair bit of morning sickness as well as daily afternoon/ evening sickness! Luckily I work 3 days a week and DS1 (20months) has long afternoon sleeps so I've been napping a lot too.
Had my NTS this week and all was normal and low risk for Downs so I am happy about that! It was lovely to see little bubba, so fully formed already! I keep thinking about him or her bobbing around in there now.
That's all from me! Going out for dinner for DH's bday tonight to a beautiful French restaurant. I am a big fan of champagne and fois grois so it will be hard! I'm feeling up to a glass of wine though so will savour a really nice one!!
Have a great weekend everyone x

I haven't been in here since my first few posts as I have been keeping in touch via the FB group only.
Only that I am having such a hard time dealing with the loss of my pregnancy on Friday that I find myself here tonight and see that I need to removed from the due date list, 16th April.

miss anthroplogie - I am so sorry. I am sending you all the hugs in the world. Take care of yourself xx

I'm so sorry miss anthropologie. I hope you have a good support network you can lean on. Big hugs xxx

miss anthropologie: Take care of yourself, and again I'm so sorry for your loss.
I just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I do keep up with the thread, but don't post as often as I am generally on my phone (which makes the FB side of things easier to keep up with).
Having said that, I'm glad that everyone is starting to feel better and enter the second trimester. Personally, I feel pretty good 99% of the time, and then really ordinary every so often. But it's better than all day every day.
We had our 12w scan a couple of weeks ago. All was good and we were low risk - no guesses on gender though which is frustrating. The sonographer said right from the get go "it's too early to tell gender", therefore putting a stop to me even asking the question. But only five more weeks until we can find out *hopefully*.
Anyhoo, I look forward to hearing from you all.

Sorry I haven't been on again for ages, been super busy! I have just sent a FB request, so will hopefully see you all there soon...
Anyone else feeling like it is too long between scans?!? Had my nuchal scan in Sept and my next scan is 12 Nov, but I can't wait till I can start to feel some movement in my bump! It will just be comforting to feel bub moving around and have a reminder that everything is going well.
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll feel a kick, anyone else felt movement yet? I know its a bit early according to the books...
Hope you are all well and getting over m/sickness...

Still hanging about here... its quiet on the forums!!!! I am 13 weeks on wednesday coming... so Thats pretty cool... WE have settled on a girls name, and have it down to two boys names... still feels very surreal that I am pregnant, no bump, no symptom of pregnancy, nothing!!! except positive tets, and scans! maybe this is the universe being kind to me after shocking MS last two times??

Hello to you all
Im 28 from Melbourne... I too would like to be added to this group please.
My due date is the 15th of April...
Posted 18 October 2012 - 02:59 PM
It's been forever since I've been in here... facebook seems to be so much easier as I'm usually on my phone rather than the computer.
Hope everyone is keeping well. I'm 14 1/2 weeks now... hard to believe! Got my energy levels back and the nausea has eased - yah.
I encourage those that haven't already to join to fb group. We're very active and a great support network.

I'm the same, FB is so much easier than getting on here as I rarely turn the pc on these days. Come an join our super fun, secret group of pregnancy fun and chats!
I'm 14 weeks tomorrow. NT results yesterday were fantastic and I'm starting to feel like I can relax and enjoy it now. Have started to get the first little feelings of fishy/rolling movements - can't wait for the kicks! Still feeling pretty tired a lot of the time, but otherwise I'm feeling great :-)
Posted 19 October 2012 - 09:16 PM
Ok I give in!
Was hoping that this group wouldn't exist entirely on FB but seems we're missing out here How do I join the FB group please?
Posted 20 October 2012 - 07:39 AM
I haven't been on here for weeks & weeks... I found it all a bit overwhelming when I first registered after getting my bfp and had to take a chill pill and stop over analysing every single thing! Feeling a little more chill-axed these days so came in to say hi, but it would appear there are not many people around these days . Maybe in a few weeks once the whole world knows we're expecting I'll join the fb group,.
Hope you're all well
Posted 23 October 2012 - 01:10 PM
You can join the group, it's private so no one sees. It's a fast paced conversation there!
AFM - Feeling so crampy at the moment, since yesterday really. It's uncomfortable. Doesn't help that (sorry TMI) I'm a little constipated too.
Posted 24 October 2012 - 04:13 PM
Hope you are all well... I just can't wait for this week to be over - we're going on holidays for a week - YAY. A week of nothing but relaxation AHHHH. I feel better just saying that.
I'm 16w4d now and can't wait until my next scan in the 12/11 (it seems like it's forever away). Still feel no baby flutters yet? I want that too. Oh well.
Again I hope you are all well - take care.

HI all! Just dropped in to say hi and try to keep the ball rolling in here:) Still haven't joined FB group but am thinking I might- how do we do it again?
Anyway, am 16 weeks tomorrow and starting to feel better- still tired but less nausea. No flutters yet but I can feel the hard lump in my tummy when I'm lying in bed and it's getting uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach- boooo! I love sleeping on my tummy:) I learnt to sleep on my back last pregnancy but went straight back to tummy sleeping as soon as DS was born!
Heylee, where are you going on hols? We just booked a week in Port Stephens in Feb which Im looking fwd to, but wish it was sooner!!
Butterflyme, glad you are feeling more relaxed now. If you haven't considered prenatal yoga I highly recommend it for calming the nerves and giving you some good coping mechanisms for labour too:)
I hope everyone else is well!
