Errr, what's your criteria? How much do you want to spend? How many seats do you need? Petrol or diesel? New or second hand? Anchor points? How much luggage space do you need?

Price $40000, 5 seats is fine as it is for the most part just DD &I. Undecided between petrol or diesel, but would like an automatic.

New or used? We have a Kluger, it is a dream. But we bought it as a used car. It is petrol, automatic and a pleasure to drive.

Looking at buying brand new, thanks will look at some of those you have all suggested ATM I am liking the Ford Kuga and the Toyota RAV 4 and don't mind the Nissan Dualis. Anyone own any of these? Can anyone explain the differences between petrol and diesel engines, particularly in regards to automatics. I have heard that diesel's are cheaper to run yet more expensive to fix is that true?

Have you looked at the Subaru XV? We were looking to upgrade and were deciding between the Mazda CX5 or the Subaru XV. We were sold on the Subaru as I really wanted a Manual AWD ( Mazda CX5 only comes in Auto for AWD).

I didn't think the smaller SUV's came in diesel? I looked at the Rav 4 but they are really designed for young singles, no kids. With 2 boys who are so damn tall, and their mates, we needed ROOM!
