British singer-turned-TV star Myleene Klass became a mother for the second time on Friday, welcoming a little girl named Hero.
The former Hear'Say singer gave birth to her second daughter, Hero Harper, with her fiance Graham Quinn.
The baby was born weighing six pounds, two ounces (2.8 kgs) and is a sister to three-year-old Ava.
A statement posted on Klass' official website reads, "This afternoon at 5.02pm Myleene gave birth to Hero Harper Quinn. Weighing 6lb and 2oz, Hero is Myleene's second daughter.
"We'd like to send Myleene and family the warmest congratulations."
The UK's Mirror reports that the delivery was a breeze, with Myleene back at home just five hours after the birth, eating takeaway curry to celebrate the new arrival. A source explained the quirky name choice and said: “Myleene and fiancé Graham Quinn loved the name in Much Ado About Nothing, and then there’s Hero and her lover Leander from Greek mythology.
Myleene was laughing and said the paperwork needed to leave the hospital took longer to fill out than the actual labour.
