Channel Ten newsreader Deborah Knight is pregnant with her second child.

She and husband Lindsay Dunbar have 14-month-old Darcy but bringing him into the world wasn't easy. Two IUI fertility courses were followed by eight IVF attempts, then Darcy was rushed to intensive care due to complications during birth.

"This time it was only three IVF cycles, so compared to last time it was a walk in the park," Knight says. "Lindsay and I were both so relaxed with this whole process. We thought no matter what happens, we have Darcy. If we can have another little munchkin, it's a bonus."

She's now had the 12-week scan and got the all-clear. Baby number 2 is due in October.

"I was so nervous with Darcy and worried that things would go wrong," Knight says. "This time I'm so relaxed I've had moments where I've forgotten I'm pregnant."

She hasn't decided whether to find out the sex of the baby. "It's another few weeks until we can find out," Knight says. "Everyone wants to know if I want a girl but I'm loving boys so I don't care. I can't wipe the grin off my face."
