The first photos of Australia's world-famous quintuplets have been released.

Perth woman Kim Tucci, 26, gave birth to four girls and a boy in January.

Her laboured pregnancy made international headlines as she documented the struggles of carrying five foetuses on her Facebook page.

Photographer Erin Elizabeth photographed Tucci during her pregnancy, and since then she has photographed the babies' first months.

Baby Keith and his four sisters Ali, Penelope, Tiffany and Beatrix, are depicted nestled in a woollen blanket in a giant wooden bowl.

The photograph received more than 23,000 Facebook likes in less than 12 hours after being posted on Tucci's Facebook on Monday night.

GoFundMe page has been established to buy a vehicle large enough to fit the young family. Tucci and her husband had three children before she gave birth to the twins, and the family currently have to travel in three separate vehicles.

During her pregnancy, Tucci had to consume 6000 calories a day to keep the babies nourished.

"I'm finding it hard to eat as I basically have no room left in my stomach and the way it is positioned it's pushed all the way back with the babies leaning against it. During a quintuplet pregnancy it's recommended that I be taking in 6000 calories a day," Tucci wrote.

"I'm struggling to eat and force feed myself leaving me with reflux for hours. I can't tolerate a lot of dairy and I can't keep protein drinks down, I'm starting to lose weight when I really need to be gaining it."
