Urgent pram recall: entrapment and injury risk for iCandy Peach

An urgent recall of the iCandy Peach 2018 pram has been issued by the ACCC.

The front bumper bar is missing a cap for the hinge, posing a risk of finger entrapment and injury to children.

The details for the recall have been published on the ACCC website and are repeated below.

What are the defects?

The pram bumper bar may be missing a plastic cap in the hinge, exposing a small hole when the bumper is hinged back.

What are the hazards?

If the cap is missing and the bumper bar is hinged back, a child may put their fingers in the exposed hole, posing an entrapment hazard and injury risk to the child.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should check each hinge on the bumper bar for a missing cap. Tobil & Co Pty Ltd will post a replacement bumper to consumers with an affected product.
