Review: BabyBjorn Bassinet Harmony

When a renovation is on the cards – but in the distance – a third baby can make things a little tricky! With our two boys settled into their new bunk beds, we decided a mobile approach to the third baby would be best until he was sleeping through the night.

The BabyBjorn Harmony is perfect for the cot alternative when space is an issue. We've loved how light and portable it is – only 5kg. The lightweight, transparent mesh fabric and low height has made it easy to move around the house and our baby has become accustomed to sleeping well in many rooms. The mesh fabric not only gives great airflow but it allows us to keep an eye on our baby without peeking over the top.

The springy base has helped our baby's movements which mean he gently rocks on his own. We also love rocking him to sleep when needed, something we couldn't do with our cots. The mattress, cover and fabric are easy to remove and are all machine washable so its relatively low maintenance.

Lastly it's super stylish, having won several design awards around the world. So many friends have commented on it. It's going to slot perfectly into our boy's room in a few months - while the renovation remains in the distance at least!
